5 days till holidays! We packing our mystical suitcase and bringing the adventures to Warrington Families this summer: Our Story Spinners session is back on 18th July at Westy Community Centre. Our free, creative play session for families with Neurodivergent children aged 7-11. Siblings are very much welcome. If you have any access requirements or would like to book a spave for you family, drop Tom a message or send us an email. Hey - we are Tom and Flick - the directors of Story Stitchers CIC. We believe stories connect us, creativity belongs to everyone and every voice deserves to be heard. We have 20 years of creative learning under our belt and we know the barriers that's some people face in exploring their creativity. So we work stitching stories, building confidence and building up communities that foster belonging. We work with radical kindness and a deep seated belief that in the right environment and with the right support everyone can express themselves. This summer, we are thrilled to be bringing the Wondering Travel Agency to families in Warrington. We will be offering an acessible sessions for Neurodivergent families at the Gateway and partnering with East Latchford Friends Events at the end of the summer. Creative, collaborative and featuring epic story making and all free thanks to funding for the National Lotteries Community Fund...At the end of the summer we will be creating a Wondering Travel Agency guide of all these imagined places that will promote Creative activity at home. Find out more via the link in our bio... https://www.instagram.com/p/DZ0a8dTCDYA/ Happy Pride Month! Story Spinners are back!! It is estimated that 20,000 people in Warrington are an unpaid carer for a friend or family member. If you provide support for someone doing daily tasks as they are struggling to do it themselves, you are likely a carer and there is support out there. We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded funding for Sing Your Heart Out - a gentle singing/songwriting group to help tell your story. We will be working with Warrington Borough Council and Warrington Voluntary Action and starting the group in Autumn. As carers ourselves, we are proud to work together towards a carer friendly Warrington #carerfriendlywarrington #carersweek2026 If you've seen a warm glow coming from a room at The Gateway on Sankey Street... it may have been from our Friday group.
