Local Author & Illustrator World Book Day Offer

Available for booking between 4th -15th March 2024

Get creative in school exploring local history with author Flick Goodman and illustrator Stef Woof. Inspired by the characters hidden in the pages of Old Billy – A Warrington Tail, we are thrilled to provide Warrington primary school children with the chance of experiencing the day as an author and an illustrator.

During each individual workshop children will:

-write the lyrics to a class ballad inspired by child workers from 18th Century Warrington with Flick

-illustrate political cartoons inspired by the bargers who worked the Warrington Cut with Stef

Each session lasts 90 minutes for children in Year 3 to Year 6. Stef and Flick can offer four sessions between them over the school day for £400 a day.
