We completed over 6 months of our free weekly theatre group for older adults thanks to funding from The National Lotteries Community Fund.
With no lines to learn, no auditions, no fuss — just fun, laughter, and a friendly bunch who loved a good yarn. They played with poetry, tried their hand at a bit of acting for stage or radio, and dreamt up their own monologues.
The group, led by Tom, then stitched their stories together into a collection of writing, titled A Manifesto for being Brave. You can read this here
